Changing Document Options to print

I'm using reader version 7.0.8.

I need to print a PDF but desperately want to modify the Document Options to print in Booklet layout. When I change the options in Reader they are accepted, but the document still prints in its default format.

I do this all the time with MS Word so I'm confident my printer is set up for it. Is the free reader restricted?

Thx for any suggestions-
