Index Links on CD only work on D: Drive

We are trying to make a compilation of technical papers on a CD for distribution to several hundred members with different computer configurations. We have 44 papers all within a PDF file.

Our index works fine if the computer's CD drive is D: drive but if it is E: or F: etc. it won't work.

Is there a way to make the link universal.
