I have begun experiencing this same problem recently. Let me explain it in a slightly different way... Whenever I click on a PDF link on any web site, Internet Explorer responds with "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem....." and IE promptly closes all of the open IE windows on my machine. This does not happen if I launch Adobe Reader prior to clicking on the PDF link. I'm running IE 6.0 and Acrobat Reader 7.0.8 on Windows XP Pro SP2. This problem is strictly related to my machine, not to any specific website or any other machine at our site. I've been through the Reader repair process and that did not help. Any help would be much appreciated. Don
