I too am having this problem. I varified that the file associations are correct. Have Acrobat 6 Prof., installed Reader 7.0.5 and the .pdf icons all changed to generic. On a different computer I had 7.0.5 Reader and performed a full install (not update) of 7.0.8 Reader and the same thing happens, the icons all switch to a generic icon. The files open properly though and the file associations are correct. Any other ideas?
