That's interesting; I am also using an HP Photosmart printer (8150). I am courious if it is an issue specific to the printer model and Reader 7.0.8 or a more general glitch in the 7.0.7 to 7.0.8 update on the Mac. I apologize for not including my printer model information earlier. I have discovered that I am able to fill in forms in PDF files under Prieview and Reader 5.0.5, which is something I didn't think was possible. Also, when I need to print PDF files that are longer than the available printable area on the Photosmart printer, I learned that I can select "scale down to fit paper size A4" under "Paper Handeling" in the print dialog box. This keeps the bottom of my documents from being cut-off on this printer. I hope this helps until the issue with Reader 7.0.8 is resolved. I'm not an IT professional by any means, but I will continue to try to isolate the problem.
