Found an interesting Issue using Acrobat reader from within a browser to attach the file currenlty being viewed to an email:

Using the file/send/page as email option, all is well, and a new email is created with an attachment (file.pdf) on the bottom.

If I use the Email button in the toolbar, a new email is created with an attachment as before, but the attachment does not include it's file extension, it is just 'file'. This means that when you double click on the attachment, the email client does not know how to view it...

Strangely, if you use the Reader in standalone mode (ie not within a browser) the email button works fine, and the attachment retains it's extension. Incidentally, the file menu is different between the two implementations, as the file menu just has an email option (which also works fine) rather than the file/send/page as email.

I have tried this with both IE and Firefox, and get the same result in both. The Email client I am using is Lotus Notes 7.0.1.

Does anyone have any experience of this, or a fix, or know how I can log it as a bug with adobe?
