Runtime error when navigating away from an IE PDF page

I have begun to receive a runtime error in iexplore.exe if I display an acrobat document in IE then try to navigate to another page. It says 'The application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way'.
It used to work fine and I'm not sure when the problem started but it must be fairly recent.

I have fully updated XP home and IE6 and have reinstalled the latest Reader7.

After the error message, IE quits.

Thanks for any help
Mark
