Printing in landsscape

Since recovering my PC I am unable to print in landscape. I am able to set landscape in page setip and preferences but when I want to print the preview shows portrait and prints in portrait. Really need to resolve this problem and appreciate all sugesstions. Am using Windows XP, a 4in1 HP printer. Thanks for your help.
