I am having the same problem installing 7.08. I ran a virus scan and Adobe reader would not load. I tried to download the file. The file was downloaded. During installation a message appeared "Adobe Reader 7.08 was previously installed. I checked add and remove program no 7.08. I used Windows Clean. No trace of 7.08. Restarted several times and retried unable to complete installation
