Can't install 7.0.8 coz 7.0.5 msi is missing

Unable to update Adobe Reader 7.0. The installation program is unable to find adobe reader 7.0 .msi or adobe reader 7.0.5 .msi (one or the other). Have tried both updating and installing new over the existing copy. I have downloaded the program from Adobe.

The earlier 7.0.5 msi has been removed from my computer

Any suggestions?
