I am trying to install Adobe Reader on Win XP SP2. I am able to download and extract the file. When the installer loads, it states that Adobe 7.0.8 is already installed. When I go to the control panel and click on Add/Remove programs, Adobe Reader is not on the list of installed programs. Also, I search the system for Adberdr* and the only file I find is the one that I am trying to install. Any ideas?
