I agree. I have a client complaining that "I" broke their 4 computers because Adobe doesn't have their programming **** together. From an novice end user perspective, all they know is that I serviced their computers last and "it worked before" I came...supposedly. I can't prove otherwise. So, now I'm out hours of work trying to figure this out, and both my client and I are in pissy moods...all because of Adobe! I got one system to not do it anymore...by chance and pure luck. I duplicated those steps on another identical system and it apparently still does it...same versions. Go figure. I am so ticked off at Adobe right now. How arrogant to try to pass this bug off as a feature! What...wait 5-7 minutes when an end user has to leave and shutdown now?! Open/close Acrobat before you shut down?! Puleeeze! Maybe I should manually wash my clothes one more time before I put them in the dryer...just to make sure they're clean after the first wash! LOL Oh, yes, and let's don't forget...have them CTRL-ALT-DEL to select a process and kill it???! Besides the registry, that is the last place I'd want some of my clients poking around. The best work around, which Adobe DID NOT mention, was to disable the Web View feature. Inconvenient, YES! Even though you loose features, it does work and stops the logoff problem. I don't understand Adobe's problem here...AcroRd32.exe should close ANY TIME ACROBAT CLOSES...web view or not. Having 3 error windows popup upon logoff is NOT acceptable...and it is most definitely NOT a 'feature' worth having. When you logoff, Windows should just logoff...no issues. HOW ABOUT FIXING YOUR SOFTWARE ADOBE???!!! Please? 7.0.9? Version 8.0? Now?
