I wouldn't have thought my system would be found insufficient to read a PDF file, but the following sucks the life right out of the system and hangs AR: <http://books.google.com/books?vid=LCCN19027301&id=LJaetzppfp0C&pg=PA561&lpg=PA561&dq=%22Judge+Prescott%22+Groton> Bulletins_for_the_Constitutional_Convent.pdf (I think you need a gmail account to see the downloadable file). file: 12 mb; 625 page images system: Dell 3Ghz XPS Gen 2, 1gb memory. Paging file: 1.5 gb os: Winxp Pro, SP2 + all current patches Adobe Reader: 7.08 I've found that if I am excruciatingly careful and patient, I can traverse the PDF file - otherwise a paging dance of death begins and AR hangs, eventually Windows invites me to send an error report.
