Folks, When some of our users view certain websites ie <http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/cgi-bin/fulltext/85005941/PDFSTART> Adobe reader will just crash with a General exception error and offer to send a bug report to microsoft. I have tried doing a repair install but this hasn't resolved it. The installation has an additional plugin installed called Read and Write 8 PDF Aloud which reads the PDF file aloud for disabled students. On other machines without this plugin all works fine with this version of reader. However if I disable the web browser integration with Adobe Reader's preferences it all works fine. It is on Windows XP SP2, with the firewall disabled and all the latest updates for windows applied. There are about 150 other updates on the machines. Does anyone have any suggestions on what may resolve this? Thanks in advance for any help, Martin Searle Computing Service, University of Kent
