I recently added a pdf format brochure to our website. When I click on the link, the file starts to open and then it stops and the "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem....." message appears and the whole site closes down. I am using Internet Explorer Version 6.0 and Adobe Reader Version 7.0.8. In the Adobe Preferences, if I deselect "Display PDF in browser" it will work, opening in a separate window. But, I don't want to have to put a message on our site telling everyone that has this problem to do the same. Is there a way to work around this? I have tried repairing the registry as the Adobe site suggests. I notice that when I try to view this PDF Brochure from home, where I have Adobe Reader Version 6, it works as it should...even with the "Display PDF in browser" option checked. Thanks, JERRI
