Using Acrobat Professional 7.0.8, I have created an index against a SharePoint directory of .PDF files. Using my Acrobat Professional or Reader, I am able to use this index (per User Guide instructions)and search the documents. I then went to two different people that only have the free reader (V 7) and asked them to use advanced searching and set up the index that I had created. They were able to navigate to the .PDX file, however, received the following error message; "The index file is incompatible with this version of Acrobat". Any idea how to resolve this situation? Jim
