network error while accessing this document on the internet

When accessing a new up load of documents with reader 7.0.8. This has happened on both my iMac PowerPC G5 2GHz 1GB memory and my Powerbook G4 1GB memory. The first page loads but when I either click the arrow to access next page or click the side bar to scroll down to next page. I get this message " A network error occurred while accessing this document on the internet. Would you like to close the document or reload it?" This has happened several times both at home using cable and at work using earthlink dial up.

I have also emptied the cache, re started, went to other pages and come back, etc.

Re-up loading files does not always solve the problem. Sometimes the file works. I have gone to a three computer iMac with reader 6. and there is no problem with my opening and reading the same files as it only have the scroll choice.

Several customers in the last 10 days or so, have called complaining they cannot get passed first page of the particular link either. Some of them are using PC's. I have concluded it must have some thing to do with the reader. I have gone on line (while they waited) to verify the up load was working. I would not have any problem seeing the next pages. So I told them it had to be their computer with a problem. I had not had the problem, until a few days ago. After opening all the pages in reader 6, all links were working fine on both computers. Then I up loaded an updated file a few minutes ago and got the same error message again. I clicked to reload twice and it worked okay on both computers?

It takes some time for the error message to appear. You cannot skip it, you have to wait for the spinning ball to stop. I do not have any information about how the PC's are equipped.

I cannot duplicate the problem using reader 6. Any answers?

Thank you.
