There is an ftp address from where you can download the full Reader installer, but it is now restricted to versions 6 unpwards. I would try the "normal" way of goint to adobe.com, choose downolad Reader, choose his system, and follow the whole procedure. If you are lucky, you will end with an Acrobat 5.0.5 folder in your HD, and if you are more lucky, copying this folder to your friend's Mac would do the trick. Alternatively, maybe someone still has a copy if the full installer of 5.0.5 Mac.
