Hi Macke - we have just had an identical-sounding problem, with Adobe Updater on one PC causing extraordinarily high downloads (around 90 Gig over the course of a month). The problem only came to light after we received a bill from our telco provider with a large excess data usage charge, and it then took some time to track down and disable Adobe Updater on the machine, given the intermittent nature of the problem.

I am very keen to discover what the root cause of this problem is, and if others have encountered a similar issue.

Thanks very much for for your post.
Regards,
Nick
