Hi guys,

I'm sorry to asking such a lame question but I'm new to printing from Acrobat and also new to the printer (Konica Magicolor 7450).

A client has given me a file to print multiple copies from and a sample printed on his office printer. The sample page provided looks good great! It is an 8.5 x 11 with text, a small photo and has a boarder all around 1/4 inch from the end of the sheet.

PROBLEM 1 - The type from his printer is black but my printer is printing it as rich black and my photo has a lot more color saturation. I suppose I can adjust the contrast somewhat in my print settings but would like to know how you guys handle such situations.

PROBLEM 2 - The document was set up as an 8.5 x 11.7. If I print using the default settings, it centers up and down but is off left and right. If I select center and rotate, it clips off the top boarder, but is better centered left and right.

Is there any way to adjust the positioning?

I am printing from a PC with Acrobat 7, but also have Acrobat Professional on a Macintosh. Any help you guys can offer will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Jamie
