We are a software company. Our product enables users to make multimedia apps with buttons that launch PDF files. The user's app launches the PDF file, hence launching the Adobe Reader. A user of our software is indicating that on some systems, the Adobe Reader is being launched properly, and is then launching their PDF file. On other systems, the Adobe Reader is not being launched. The user has ensured that all systems have the most current Adobe Reader installed. And, the file extension association is the same among all their systems. Can anyone please indicate what might be causing some systems to not launch the Adobe Reader when a PDF file is launched? Thank you.
