another question about Reader freezing up.

I am sure that this has been addressed. I looked into the topic where the adobe reader freezes up. But nothing worked to fix my problem. I have cleared out the temp files, I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Does anyone have any more suggestions? I am running Windows XP Home.
