Sorry Adobe Acrobat Standard v7.0.8 with postscript driver for Xerox Phaser 8400 also same response when printing to old HP Laserjet 4000. Not sure I have tried PCL driver but do not think it is the issue as printing from Adobe direct does not have problem only when through the browser. Thanks for your help Peter
