I run Reader 7.0.8 on Windows XP. I have been using software from Pest Trap, Symantec, and Trend Micro to remove spyware and viruses from my system. Recently, I have had to remove a trojan horse (VX 11) at boot-up. When I do so, I cannot run Reader because I get a an error message that says that the MSVCR71.dll file is unavailable. Reinstalling Reader resolves this problem, allowing me to run Reader, but then I have to remove the trojan horse again at the next boot-up instance. Is it possible that the trojan horse has infected the MSVCR71.dll file? If so, is a patch available? Thanks, Alex
