Are you sure you have Acrobat 5 or possibly Acrobat Reader 5? The latest version is 7 (8 will be in on the market shortly) but Acrobat 5 should do it. If it turns out you actually have Acrobat 5, you'll want to ask in the Acrobat forum. It's an older version and you're more likely to find someone whom remembers how to merge pages/files in there.
