Free Adobe Reader download NEVER finishes 100%.

I am not good at all things "computer" and maybe I'm responsible for what's happening but, if anyone can tell me what's wrong, I will forever be appreciative.

I have a new Dell computer, Windows, and honestly have not encountered any problems with anything until this.

I click to download the free Adobe Reader and it will download. HOWEVER, it always comes down to saying there is one minute left in the download and NOTHING ever happens after that. I can wait three hours and nothing will happen.

What I don't understand is on the same message saying one minute is left in the downloading process, at the top of the message it says download is 100% complete.

What am I doing wrong?
