When I open up documents I initially see the page as expected but within a few seconds all these inverted or upside-down triangles show up over almost every alphanumeric character. The bigger the type size the bigger the triangle. The triangles are centered above each letter/number but NOT above spaces. The triangles print out when I print a document. It's not just one document, but all documents with text, even on-line docs like my Verizon bill. I used the selection tool in Reader to copy text off the page and was surprised that the triangles pasted into Microsoft Word too! It's like some crazy font substitution that Acrobat is doing.

I've looked everywhere in the preferences and searched the help, knowledge base and forums but must be using the wrong keywords.

Your help or suggestions are appreciated.
