I have hundreds of PDF files with page counts ranging from 1 to 800 pages in the files. In the last week I started a project to copy those files to another drive. In the course of doing so, about 15 files will not copy. Windows XP comes up with a "Cyclic Redundancy Error". Further, when I open the problem file in Reader - I find that one or more pages will not load (I get an error message like ERROR 14 -- not very helpful). AND, the affected files will not print either. Thinking that the copying process itself may have something to do with it, I stopped copying and started checking the files by opening them up in Reader - Nope - the error cited above still happens and the file will not print. 1) What is going on? 2) Any way to recover the information? HELP!!
