I've recently been lumped with a problem whereby pdf files, when converted to postscript files using acroread 5, don't print certain numbers. The numbers are in the postscript file, but somehow can't be seen when you view or print the postscript. It looks like a bug with acroread 5, so I have upgraded to version 7 which solves the problem, but the -shrink command works differently between the versions and the invoice no longer fits on a page when printed. I have tried all manner of combinations of switches to acroread 7, including -size, -scale but can't get the same results as acroread 5. Does anyone have any info on what the difference is and how I may be able to overcome it? Thanks in advance
