Congratulations to David! I am afraid I don't have the knowledge or the expertise required to solve my problems. Followed Mike Kazlow's advice and was able to successfully download the 7.0.8 version but I still have those uninstalled updates in my system with the Windows Installer flashes each time I boot up. I can't find them to delete them and apparently they are using quite a lot of memory. Thanks to Mike. Lorene
