Same problem. Got a new computer and transferred my stuff over to it. But .pdf files just sat there when I clicked on them. Tried to install reader. Error message said that it was present. Tried to uninstall reader. Error message said "The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you may access it."

Then I tried manually deleting everything in the computer that referred to any version of the reader. Even deleted from registry. Even deleted "hidden" files. Nope. Nothing. Same error message when trying to install. Same error message when trying to uninstall. If I could do EITHER it would be ok!

HELP!!
