I have since been advised that we have had this happen to one of our network printers as well, It is a Canon iRC 3220. In general our networked printers do not have this issue, and that is the workaround we have adopted. I am not sure about the fonts used and whether they are True Type or not. I can check to see what they are and give feed back. Also being able to reproduce is not an issue for me. It happens quite frequently, but not always. PCL and PS drivers are only used on our network printers, all our local printers would have an internal font set.
