Unfortunatelly, due to a very long explanation, the graphics come from Flash. Exporting as EPS/AI won't preserve font-info (including bolds and italics), so I must use the OS function "save as postscript", then use Illustrator or [command-line tools] to convert to EPS. In the way, I'm forced to lose text editability. And I don't have the time to re-do the graphics in Illustrator/Freehand or whatever tool able to export a serious EPS file. On my side, the job is done, as the final PDF's (coming from the app where the EPSs are inserted) will display fine in all-pdf-viewers-except-for-adobe-reader and will print fine from all of them. On the customer-side, though, I have "fuzzy graphics". I've been searching for an alternative, but seems that the online "SWF-to-SVG" tool doesn't work. And I don't have either the time to write a JSFL-to-Illustrator converter. So I will have a final figth with my customer. The job will be "fine". The image "poor". It's sad, after years trying to bring my customers to this "dark side" called PDF. I remember the old days when I could get heaven doors opened with a bit of postscript-distiller-acrobat. But today I can't rely in "Adobe Reader", which is the default pdf-viewer in lots of machines of spurious pdf-users. While the PDF will print fine, and will contain the rigth info, I must show a "fine" PDF to the customer ;-)
