Cerificate Security has locked me out of the document

This is the first time I am adding digital signature to the form. I am using Adobe Professional 7 and have added digital signature using Digital ID for my form. I have applied Certificate Security for the document and now I want to change it to Password Security but the document says that I don't have rights to make any security changes. Also when I open the document it prompts for digital ID password. I am not sure why it is happening this way. How can I get back into the document?
