I sent the error report to msn and received a reply that the error was likely caused by Acrobat 5.0 or higher. They suggest to remove the old version Acrobat 5.0 or greater using the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS from the control panel. however ADD/REMOVE PROGRAM function only lists Acrobat 4.0 as an option. I think the Acrobat 5.0 resides in a group of files (including program files) that were backed up from my old p.c. How can I remove the 5.0 properly (and completely) so that I can TRY to re-download the 7.08 reader? AND will this fix the problem?
