Greetings All. I have a client who has Adobe Reader v7.0.8 for Windows installed and has a peculiar problem when attempting to open a PDF file (no matter the files origin). When a PDF is double-clicked to be opened the screen resolution for the computer is bumped back down to 640 x 480 x 8bits - everytime. Once you exit Adobe Reader the screen resolution returns to the normal setting (1024 x 768 x 32 bit). Has anyone seen this before? More to the point, how do I stop it? The latest video drivers (ATI Radeon) are installed, Windows XP is up to date, and other than this problem the computer is running fine. At one time I had Adobe Reader v6 installed and this didn't happen - but the client needs v7.0.8 installed to take advantage of features her office uses. Thanks! -Eric www.Shoregeek.com
