Install of VW car manual fails saying an older version than Acrobat 4 is present

I am trying to install an Volkswagen workshop manual on an XP machine that has Acrobat Reader 7 installed. Setup fails and comes up with the following message:

"Setup has found that the following program is not present or is only present in an older version: Acrobat Reader 4. Please install the program before installing ElsaWin"

Weird, because Reader 7.0.5 is already installed.

Is there a fix for this?
