Acrobat Reader 7 creates temporary files Z*.tmp on my terminal server when users print to a pcl printer. These create a big problem, as these files are "untouchable". When a user prints, about 9 files are created. After closing AR, 6 are cleaned up and 3 reside. These files are locked in a way that only rebooting the terminal server get's these files to be released. When a user log's off these files reside. Even a domain administrator can't delete these, as the system claims that the files might be in use.
My best option would be some help how to release these files, but a work-around is print as image on the advanced printing options dialog. As this problem is occuring with every users since i upgraded from AR 6, i have to enforce this.
So: who knows how to enforce "Print as image" by a group policy or registry entry?
Regards, Hans.
