Hi, A friend of mine has been sending me acrobat attachments (I have seen them physically sent) but they arrive in my mail box as Win.dat files and totally unreadable. A double click on the icon, suggests I open them using VLC player. I have tried opening a win.dat file using acrobat, by first changing them into .pdf files and I get a message telling me that the file has been corrupted. Any ideas? is this a preferences issue? I have tried calling the microsoft helpline but they pass it on as an acrobat problem...
