Can not print graphic / photo images

I can print documents with no problem, however the graphic / photo images do not print. They show up in the document itself and also in the print preview pane. Only the text prints. I can not figur out if it is my printer not able to capture the images or if it is a setting issue in Adobe. I can print photos and images from any other application except Adobe Reader.

Reader 7.0
Lexmark X125 printer
Windows XP
