I have tried all of the above and no results. The Microsoft program suggested ran for approx 10 seconds adn then nothing.

It still gives me the microsoft yield sign and message when I go to add remove programs and click on change or remove adobe acrobat 7.0.8 "This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer patch package."
