When I display my PDF file, the colours look fine, but when I print the file, the colors are off; yellows shift into a yellow-green and magentas (reds) start turning brown. I have tried printing with vivid colour, match screen and no color correction and get the same result. The user defined colour correction does not give me a satisfactory result either; the settings aren�t fine enough. CorelDraw plots accurate colours. Foxit Reader plots accurate colours but does not have enough image resolution. No problems with other software as well

When I ask my co-workers to plot the same file, using the same OS, with the same printer settings etc., their plots print fine.

When I delete my windows user profile, the colours are OK, but then start shifting again after a couple of hours. I do not install any new software or modify the color settings in my user profile after deleting my old user profile. The only things I change are the mouse settings and font size.

I'm working in Windows XP professional v5.1 w service pack 2, using Adobe Reader v7.0.8, and plotting with an HP5000 (all drivers are up to date). . I downloaded and installed Acrobat Reader v5.0.5 and have the same problem.
