Adobe Reader 7.08 has caused far more serious damage for this Windows XP Home Edition SP1 machine. It has blocked my ability to print anything via Internet Explorer 6.0.2800... (SP1) and the program prevents me from uninstalling it, even with the entire Adobe Reader 7.0 subdirectory manually deleted from Program files! What workarounds are available, short of a complete system rebuild?
