Mark: When opening up an adobe document from Explorer 6.0, Adobe reader used to open up at or near 100% zoom with one page being displayed at a time. Now, I have noticed that adobe does some sort of automatic thing where I see a 2 page view and the zoom is usually around 30%--pretty useless for reading. In Adobe reader 7.0 edit, preferences I have the following boxes checked: display large images use logical page numbers smooth text, smooth line art, smooth images use system setting default zoom 100% max fit_visible zoom 800% and I have tried 3 different default page layouts: single page automatic continuous - facing and I still get the same view of 2 pages with ~30% zoom when I open up .pdf files. I'm considering removing reader 7.0 and going back to an older version, since this may be related to a recent update???? Just a guess here. Help!
