you will probably need to go to microsoft.com and download, install, and run the Windows Installer Clean-up to remove the Reader. After you d/l and install the utility; open it and then highlight Reader, it will probably be at the top of the list, and choose Remove. Then go to C:/program files/adobe and delete all the leftover Acrobat folders including earlier versions. Good Luck!
