I have tried to install the new Adobe Reader version 7.0.8 and the installation is stopped during its last phase and the following message is displayed: Error 1406. Could write value to key \GBDetect.Detect\CLSID. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel. Abort Retry Ignore My son and I are the only one using this system and we both have the administrator status. I don't understand the real meaning of the message. How can I change the config values to assigns the necessary access. My operating system is Windows XP Family Edition with 2GO RAM. Your assistamce is very much appreciated. Richard Pouliot
