In trying to troubleshoot another problem (turned out to be bad CD/DVD drive), I tried to uninstall Adobe Reader 7.0.8. Windows XP uninstall did not work, so I removed it manually. Now, when I try to reinstall, I receive this message: "This version of Adobe Reader is already present on your computer. Installation will now exit." How can I get by this so that the installation will continue? I'm guessing there are entries in the Registry or some files remnant on the hard disk that make the install program think AR 7.0.8 is there when in fact it is gone. Thanks, -- Wietze
