Cannot download 7.0.8

Dell 4700, 512 RAM, WinXP/SP2 (fully patched).

I tried to update from 7.0.7 to 7.0.8 and was attacked by a myriad of error messages. This had happened in the past and the solution was to use Windows Install Cleanup tool to remove the old version, and download the new version at the Adobe Download site. (Add/Remove Programs never removes Adobe for some reason). Now I cannot download the new version 7.0.8.

I get an error message:

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again or enter an alternate path to the folder containing the installation package SpellDict.msi in the box below.

I did a search and that file does not exist on my machine.

Thanks for any suggestions.
