We have been using Adobe versions 5.0-7.0, to view PDF documents of varying size, from 1 to over 10000 pages. While using this program we have noticed sometimes Adobe will reopen a document to the page being viewed when it was closed, sometimes it wont. Our questions are as follows: What is causes this to happen? Does the version of Adobe play any role in this? Is it dependent on the version of Adobe used to create the document? Is there a page number cut-off whereby after a certain number of pages it does this? Any information you can forward regarding this feature would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
