I create pdfs using Adobe LiveCycle designer. After creating a pdf, I open it in Adobe professional to reduce the size and make it compatible with earlier versions of Adobe Reader. For this I click on "Reduce file size" option in the File menu of Adobe Professional. While doing so, some of the javascript functions do not work. When I open the pdf directly in Adobe Reader without doing this reduce file size some of the controls in the pdf file get disabled. All javascript functions are working fine before I do this reduce file size function. I have tried using "pdf Optimizer" as an alternative to this and I still experience this problem. Can any one help me out in this?
